“Social Hour!” – Save The Bees NC – Beekeeping Social Hour @ Bearded Bee Brewing

July 28 @ 6:30 pm 8:00 pm

Hey everyone,

Join us for The Beers & The Bees — a monthly beekeeping social hour and info session at Bearded Bee Brewing in downtown Wendell.

A new topic is presented each month, and July’s topic is a HONEY TASTING EXPERIENCE!

Here’s the fun part: we want YOU to bring a jar of your own honey to share with the crowd. Nothing is being sold — this is purely tasting and mingling. Same state, same season, wildly different honey depending on what your bees were working. Bring a jar and let’s compare notes on what’s blooming where.

If you’re bringing honey:

  • Any amount is fine — even a small jar goes a long way
  • Label it with your name and your general area (and the floral source, if you know it)
  • Bring a spoon or two if you’ve got them handy

Adam Pendergrass with Save The Bees NC will be presenting. Come ready with your questions and suggestions for fellow beekeepers!
